The Beagle dogs, also known as English Beagle is actually a British dog breed. They are hardly a quiet dog as they exercise their vocal prowess just to get enough attention. They grow up to be about 1 foot and 4 inches tall and usually weight around 25 pounds. Albeit, you must have seen and even taken care of the pocket beagle; those cute dogs that seem to be like a cute beagle puppy.

Beagle dogs have short and waterproof furs that are in different colors. This dog breeds coat colors can be commonly found in blue, black, white, yellow and tan.

When it comes to the behavior and overall discipline of the beagle, they are actually very lovable dog breed that you would readily want to have them for a pet. It seems that this pet breed is meant to become family pets. They are so sociable that they easily get along with other kinds of pets. Of course, in my case, I have encountered quite a few times owners with pocket beagle on, where else, their pockets. Such lovable dogs.

There is no especial treatment or maintenance for the Beagle dogs. Even their already great looking coat needs little grooming and cleaning, albeit their nails need to be cut regularly.

Pet obedience training is rather imperative for this dog species, much better if the training is given while it is still Beagle puppy. The obedience training sessions should be gear towards controlling their barking. Beagles are very intelligent and so can easily absorb all kinds of training given them.
