Make Your Cat Take Its Pet Medications
February 16, 2008 |
Among pet animals who will give you a hard time giving their pet medicines, our feline friend tops the list. If it does not want to take in pet medication, especially those in tablet form, it will not give you even a bit of chance to savor success as a “medicine administrator.”
Isn’t there any easy way to give your pet cat its pet medicine? Don’t give yourself a hard time. If your intention is to make your cat take the pet medications as is, then prepare to be frustrated. There is no way your animal will lap on the tablet, and swallow it down just like that. It’s not cat food, remember?
One effective way to ensure that your cat receives its daily dose of pet medications is by crushing the tablet itself into almost powder form. Then mix it well with the favorite food of your cat.
You can try mixing the pet medicine on tuna and surely will have 100 percent success on this. It can also be those wet canned pet food. Just make sure that you mix all of the pet medications on the food and that the animal is able to finish everything.
Use only a small portion of food on which you will mix your pet medicine – this ensures every bit and morsel is taken in. Consequently the pet cat is able to take in his pet medication for the day.
