I love dogs so much; they are such lovable pets. However, I just loathe the nice-so-pleasant dog smell – I would rush to the nearest exit once I found out the room reeks only of bad doggy odor.
Unfortunately, I have a cousin who seems to care not about where the hygiene of her dog is going. Well I know where her pet should be headed – on a tub of water and a large bottle of dog shampoo on the side.
I should say that I really feel so bad for her dog (which I am sure does not like how it smells), that I usually volunteer to bathe and clean her up.
Pet grooming is so much a necessity for animals, dogs included. Excess furs should be trimmed, long claws should be cut, teeth and fangs brushed – the complete works. And of course, cleaning and grooming your pet dog is not only done when there is a special occasion such as contests or vacation.
When grooming of your dog is done regularly, without fail, there is a whole range of benefits to be enjoyed, both by you as a pet owner and your dog.
First of all, a clean dog gets all the praises and attention, not to mention lots of love and affection from those who are genuinely dog lovers. Not only does dog grooming turn you dog into a clean, nice-smelling pet that it should be, but it also prevents parasites such as ticks and fleas from becoming a menace to your dog and its health.
Dog grooming demands quality hours from you. But when you learn to regularly groom and clean your dog, all your efforts will be rewarded because your pet will definitely look as healthy and beautiful as possible.
