My friend is, or rather was, a proud owner of 5 cute Siberian Huskies, all of which courtesy of his long time pet dog Siberian Husky “Russian.” I say “was”, because everyone loves them so much that all were either bought from him or given as gifts to friends.

Despite its mean wolfish appearance, the Huskies are very lovable and love to please their master. And it is this vicious look of the dog that makes it all the more in demand as a pet among dog lovers.

Because it belongs to the working breed of dog, the Huskies are very energetic and physical. They would enjoy a great deal of time running and exploring the grounds.

Did you know that Huskies were originally designated as sled dogs in Alaska? However, they immediately got popular as pet dogs, as well as dogs for show competitions. It is not uncommon for many families to own a Siberian as a pet dog.

My friend said most of his Huskies have blue eyes, which is actually the common eye color for this type of dogs. Another characteristic of the Siberian is that some acquire different colored eyes. Here you can find a picture of my friend’s Huskies.
