On Your Pet Dog or Cat’s Arthritis
August 13, 2007 |
It is not only us humans that can be affected with arthritis, but definitely our pet animals as well.
We must be aware that our pet dog or cat can be easily afflicted with this degenerative illness. In fact, our pets might already have arthritis without us knowing it. And by the time it is discovered, our pets are already seriously suffering from the disease.

Simple pet medication to surgery is usually imperative for the successful treatment of arthritis. Hence it is really necessary that the disease is discovered as soon as possible to administer to our pets the appropriate treatment.
Your pet dog or cat may have arthritis if you notice that it has difficulty in its walking or climbing. If you notice that they stay in a corner and have limited movement, this is a strong sign of arthritis.
Likewise, jumping, painful joint inflammation, irritability and whining are other signs that your pet is suffering from the disease.
As soon as you recognize these symptoms on your pet, it is best to immediately consult the veterinarian for proper pet medication and treatment.
Usually the most simple treatment is the pet medication for the pain, while for the serious cases, surgery might be required.Â
