Excellent pet medication and health maintenance include adequate dental care for your pet dog or cat. And just like in humans, if your pet’s teeth are left unattended and cared for, plaque, tartar and bacteria will build up and eventually lead to infection and even serious health complications.
It is very easy to determine if your pet dog or cat has teeth and gum problems. First of all, if you see that the gums are swollen and easy to bleed, and tartar and plaque are already present on the gum line, then your pet have already dental problems.

One great pet dental care is to brush our dog or cat’s teeth. Try to make this a regular routine. However, it might be a slow and gradual process as your dog or cat might resist for some time in the beginning.
Use as special toothbrush for pets and make the brushing brief and with gentle care. Likewise, avoid using the regular toothpaste that we use as this is not compatible with dogs. Instead use one that’s made specially for pets.
Praise your dog or cat by patting as it goes throught the brush process. Surely, in due time he will get used to and even enjoy the brushing sessions.
