As a pet dog owner, if your dog needs pet medication, normally such medication is given to it along with its meal or with an empty stomach.

Most of the time however, pet medication is given with the pet dog’s meal and one effective way of doing it is by forming balls out of its food. It can be a cheese ball or a meat ball. You place the medicine inside the cheese ball (in the center) and give it to your dog to eat.

There would be no problem if your dog will swallow it whole - we can then be sure that the pet medication is fully taken in.

However, there are instances when your pet dog will try to chew the cheeseball, and because of the bitterness of the medicine, will throw it out. It will definitely be difficult to give your pet the medicine the next time because the dog has already experienced its not-so-nice taste.
